Donald Easton

for 4J School Board

Why you should vote for me:

My commitment to excellence in teaching and constant drive to influence education policy truly sets me apart from the others. In addition to my roles as a community college faculty member and a licensed Career Technical Education teacher, I have given much of my own time to serve on various advisory committees with the Oregon Department of Education, Lane Education Service District and local school districts.

As a fifth generation Lane County resident, I grew up and went to school in this community. After returning from military service, I started and raised a family here in Eugene. I have taught in 4J and my three children have been a part of the same school system, so I have first hand experience with many of the frustrations that come with a bureaucracy, as many others in the community have also faced. By gaining a seat at the school board table, it allows me to give a more experienced, practical voice for those who often don’t feel heard.
